Appointments & General Office Information

Do you offer same-day appointments?

Yes. Whenever possible, we accommodate same-day appointments for acute orthopedic injuries, severe joint flare-ups, suspected fractures, or urgent sports injuries at both our Reseda and Westlake Village locations.

If you require urgent evaluation, please call our office immediately at (818) 708-8100 rather than submitting an online form so our scheduling team can triage your situation and reserve an open slot as quickly as possible.

How do I schedule a routine appointment?

Contact our main scheduling line directly at (818) 708-8100 to book a consultation for chronic joint issues, second opinions, or podiatric evaluations.

What are your office locations and hours?

We serve patients across two convenient offices in the San Fernando Valley and Conejo Valley:

  • Reseda Office: 18039 Sherman Way, Reseda, CA 91335

  • Westlake Village Office: 1240 S. Westlake Blvd, Suite 210, Westlake Village, CA 91361

Our offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time and bring:

  • A valid government-issued photo ID (driver’s license or passport)

  • Your current physical insurance card(s) (primary and secondary)

  • Any prior diagnostic imaging discs (X-rays, MRIs, CT scans) and relevant operative or clinical reports from outside facilities

  • A list of current medications and medical conditions

  • Any required referral or prior authorization documentation from your primary care physician

Insurance & Billing

Which insurance plans do you accept?

We participate with Medicare, Tricare, Motion Picture Industry Health Plan (MPIPHP), and major commercial PPO plans including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield (Anthem), Cigna, Health Net, Humana, and UnitedHealthcare.

What if my insurance plan is not listed on your website?

Please note that not all accepted insurance plans are included on our website list. Insurance panels and affiliations change frequently. If you do not see your specific plan, please call our office directly at (818) 708-8100 to confirm whether our providers participate in your network.

Do I need a referral to see an orthopedic specialist?

If you have traditional Medicare or a PPO plan, you typically do not need a referral to book a consultation. If you are enrolled in an HMO or managed care network, your plan may require an initial referral or prior authorization from your primary care physician (PCP). Please check with your plan or call our office for assistance.

Do you treat Workers' Compensation injuries?

No. Our practice does not accept or treat Workers' Compensation cases. We focus exclusively on private commercial insurance (PPO), Medicare, and self-pay patients.

Clinical Services & Treatments

Do you offer on-site diagnostic imaging?

Yes. Our offices are equipped with in-office digital X-ray systems. This allows our physicians to capture high-resolution images, assess fractures, and evaluate joint alignment immediately during your consultation without sending you to an outside imaging facility.

Do you always recommend surgery for joint and bone pain?

No. Surgery is considered only when conservative, non-surgical approaches have been exhausted or when acute structural damage requires direct repair. Our clinical philosophy focuses on stepped care, starting with targeted physical therapy, lifestyle modifications, anti-inflammatory regimens, and therapeutic injections (including corticosteroid and viscosupplementation).

What surgical procedures do your doctors perform?

When surgery is required, our board-certified surgeons specialize in minimally invasive techniques designed to spare healthy tissue and accelerate rehabilitation:

  • Knee & Hip: Total and partial knee replacements, hip reconstructions, and arthroscopic meniscus/cartilage repairs.

  • Shoulder: Rotator cuff tendon repairs, labrum reattachment, and impingement decompression.

  • Foot & Ankle: Bunionectomy, hammertoe correction, Achilles tendon repairs, and ankle fracture fixation.

What podiatry services are available?

Our podiatric surgeon, Dr. Maurice A. Perry, D.P.M., diagnoses and treats the full spectrum of foot and ankle conditions, including chronic plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, diabetic foot complications, ingrown toenails, tendonitis, and custom orthotic fitting.
